Opening Story
I've spent my career helping organizations navigate what's next — from the early commercial days of cloud and AI to cybersecurity, infrastructure, data centers, and emerging technology.
But my story isn't defined by a resume. It's defined by showing up, building, competing, adapting, and continuing forward when the path isn't obvious.
Understand the problem. Earn trust. Create value. Take ownership. Deliver.
I Build
I'm most energized when there isn't already a playbook. I've built my career at the front edge of enterprise technology — helping build markets, open strategic accounts, create go-to-market motions, and turn emerging technologies into measurable business outcomes.
At IBM, I helped build an early Cloud and AI sales motion when the category was still being defined — delivering 256%, 210%, 145%, and 130% of quota across consecutive years.
Since then, I've worked across identity and cybersecurity, infrastructure, AI, data centers, and emerging technology — from individual contributor to sales leader and player-coach.
Understand the problem. Earn trust. Create value. Take ownership. Deliver.
The Track Record
Experience spanning AI, cloud, cybersecurity, data centers, infrastructure, DevOps, SaaS, and data platforms.
Repeatedly worked in markets where the product, category, or sales motion was still being built.
Navigating strategic accounts, multi-stakeholder buying groups, executive relationships, and transformational technology decisions.
Operated as both individual contributor and leader — comfortable setting strategy and equally comfortable getting into the arena and executing it.
Results
Behind every number: customers, relationships, teams, and execution.
The Athlete Mindset
Long before technology, there was sport. I started playing soccer at six years old and eventually became a three-year collegiate captain. Competition taught me lessons I've carried throughout my career: preparation matters, teams matter, resilience matters, and you keep going when things get uncomfortable.
Running remains part of that philosophy. I've completed 24 consecutive BOLDERBoulders, continuing a family tradition alongside my father, who completed his 44th consecutive race in 2026.
To me, being an athlete isn't something you retire from. It's a mindset.
Train. Adapt. Compete. Recover. Repeat.
Battle-Tested
Life has tested that mindset far beyond business and athletics. Over a short period of time, I experienced circumstances that fundamentally changed my perspective on resilience, identity, health, career, and what actually matters.
Those experiences didn't make me interested in slowing down. They made me more intentional about where I put my energy. I believe adversity can either narrow your world or clarify it. For me, it clarified something important.
Time matters. People matter. Purpose matters.
And if you're fortunate enough to still be standing, you have an opportunity to build something meaningful with the time you've been given.
What I'm Building Next
I'm increasingly interested in the intersection of AI, human performance, technology, behavior, entrepreneurship, and new business models.
I believe some of the most interesting companies of the next decade won't simply make people more productive. They'll help people perform better, understand themselves better, make better decisions, and live better.
I'm exploring and building ideas around emerging technology, human performance, AI-enabled businesses, and new business models. Some are early. Some aren't public yet. That's part of the fun.
The next chapter isn't about maintaining what already exists. It's about creating what should exist next.
How I Operate
Relationships come before transactions.
Understand people before trying to influence them.
Own the outcome.
Those three principles have shaped how I sell, lead, build teams, develop partnerships, and approach life. Add curiosity, competitiveness, resilience, and a bias toward action — and you have a pretty good picture of how I operate.
Player + Coach
I don't believe leadership happens from the sidelines. I'm a player-coach by nature. I enjoy creating the strategy, but I'm equally comfortable jumping into the deal, opening the account, building the presentation, whiteboarding the solution, working alongside the team, and doing whatever needs to happen to move something forward.
Strategy without execution is theory. I prefer building.
More Than Business
I'm also a father. Ultimately, success has become much bigger than titles, quotas, companies, or money. It's about the example you leave behind.
Today I will work on my mind and body, so tomorrow I can contribute to the world with my positive influence and energy.
That's the standard. Not perfection. Progress.
The Next Chapter
I'm interested in meeting founders building ambitious companies, investors backing unconventional people and ideas, technology leaders creating new categories, athletes and entrepreneurs thinking beyond their current arena, organizations looking for proven builders, and good humans doing interesting things.
If you're building something meaningful — or think we should know each other — reach out.
